Microsoft Store is an important component of Windows 10. However, many Windows 10 users have reported some issues with Microsoft Store, commonly Microsoft Store not loading and even not working.

There are lots of factors that can lead to Windows Store not working, and wrong date and time on your computer is one of them. Thus, you need to ensure correct date and time.

If your computer shows wrong date or time, follow the steps below to adjust it.

Step 4: You can set proper date and time for your computer on the pop-up window, then click Change to confirm the operation.

If your Microsoft Store not loading due to wrong date and time, the problem should be fixed in this way.

Fix 2: Check Your Region

In some cases, Microsoft Store not loading is caused by the regional settings. So, you can try checking or changing your region to fix it.

After changing the region, just restart Microsoft Store to see if the problem is solved.

Fix 3: Disable Proxy Connection

Also, your proxy settings might stop your Microsoft Store from working. Thus, you can try disabling your proxy connection to fix it.

Step 1: Type Internet Options in Cortana’s search bar and click the search result.

Step 2: In the Internet Properties window, switch to Connections tab and click on LAN settings.

Fix 4: Reset Microsoft Store Cache

Resetting your Microsoft Store cache is a common and simple way to solve various problems with Microsoft Store.

Just search wsreset.exe in your Cortana and click the result to open it. Then, wait patiently until the process finishes. After that, your Windows Store will be reset and problem should be resolved.

Fix 5: Re-Registry Microsoft Store App

When your Windows 10 cannot open Store, probably there are some glitches with Microsoft Store itself. In this case, you can choose to re-registry Microsoft Store app with Windows PowerShell to fix this problem.

Step 2: Then, you can copy and paste the following command to Windows PowerShell: PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command “& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + ‘AppxManifest.xml’ ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}”

Step 3: After pasting, don’t forget to press Enter key to run the command.

Sometime, if you don’t install the necessary update of Windows, there might be some problems with the built-in apps, of course, including Microsoft Store not working.

By default, Windows 10 will automatically check and install the new updates. Alternatively, you can manually check for updates in Settings.

To do that, you should run Settings and go to Update & Security. In Windows Update section, click Check for updates.

If there are available updates, they will be downloaded automatically. Then, you need to reboot your PC.

Fix 7: Run Microsoft Store Apps Troubleshooter

It is also advisable to fix this problem by running Microsoft Store Apps troubleshooter. You can perform this operation in Update & Security of Windows Settings as well. Choose Troubleshoot from the left pane and scroll down to find Windows Store Apps. Select it and click on Run the troubleshooter below it.

Then, just follow the onscreen instruction to complete this troubleshooting. Once it finishes, check if the problem is removed.

Fix 8: Reset Microsoft Store App

Microsoft Store not loading might appear if there are any improper settings for it. Whereas, you can fix it by resetting your Microsoft Store app to the default settings. Just follow the instructions below.

Step 2: In Apps & features section, scroll down to locate Microsoft Store and click Advanced options.

Fix 9: Create a New User Account

If all the fixes mentioned above fail to resolve this problem, then try creating a new user account. This is also a simple way with few steps.

Step 1: In Windows Settings, navigate to Accounts -> Family & other people and click Add someone else to this PC.

Step 2: Choose I don’t have this person’s sign-in information.

Step 3: Click Add a user without a Microsoft account.

Step 4: Set the username for the new account. Also, you can set a password to make the account safer. Then click Next button.

After creating a new account, you can switch to it to see if the problem is solved.
